Connectors Designations

Principle of designating connector pins
Each pin designation is composed of 2 parts.
Part 1
Choose a letter stating the type and purpose of the connector, chosen individually with ease of use by the user in mind.
General connectors
D - digital input pin
H - digital input/output pin
U - universal input/output pin
G - ground potential
RS485
A - A pin of the connector
B - B pin of the connector
RS232
T - Tx pin of the connector
R - Rx pin of the connector
1-Wire
5V - +5 V voltage
1W - 1-Wire data
Part 2
Choose a digit representing the pin on the connector. In case of more than 10 pins on the connectors, letters should be used.
